The Forgotten Hero V-17
I want to use this opportunity to thank all the lecturers and all the students that have been involved with this project. Without your comments, directions, and encouragement I would not have made it this far. Thank you

This is the improved version (not the final one yet) taking in consideration the comments I received from my peers.

Hi, I am trying to animate and at the same time update the blog of my progress, this is not an easy task. So far I had comments about my film from the lectures: Adam C, Charley M, Nick P, Rick V, Rob V,and Rob W. The comments I had were logical and constructive. However in this latest version of my Animatic I had not yet implemented the new changes. I hope to do so in my next week’s Animatics.

I do apologise to all the followers of this blog. I am very busy animating therefore I wasn’t able to update continuously. I had to make some changes to the aesthetics and to the ending of my film. The feedback I had from several students and some postgraduates was that the end was confusing and can be simplified by; removing the mother from the scene and leaving just the daughter to recognise her dad.
These are some of the changes I have made to the aesthetics.

The Battlefield with Animated Explosion
After experimenting with the varies option in Particle flow and getting advise from Adam. C. I have realised that the amount of particles that I need for the explosion will take few weeks to render, so I tried smaller amount of particles with bigger maps and it works. The battlefield explosion was created in 3DS Max with particle flow in five layers and composited with the background in After Effect. I am still not happy with the way the smoke is forming but for the moment it will have to wait. I have urgent things to get on with.
